// Dynamis is a sound and electronic installation using small recycled motors as musical instruments.
Influenced by Rainforest, one of the major pieces of the composer David Tudor, Dynamis create a new type of ecosystem. Indeed, by re-using old motors found in obsolete equipment like DVD player, printers, cassette or VHS player, placing them in a room and programming their movements so it becomes a musical piece, it open discussions about Sonic Ecology.
As a sound creator, all of my researches are about sonic ecology and the human awareness of, and interaction with a sound environment. By proposing this sonic installation I want to make participant interact with sounds inside this created ecosystem, and think about it when they are outside, in their own sonic ecosystem.
Welcome to this new-obsolete-eco-dream factory.
